Each canoe will carry and be responsible for all their Personal (i.e.) utensils, plate, cup, soup bowel, pills or filter for drinking water, tent, clothing, and also 10 percent of the (supplied) provisions (i.e.), food, treats, and cooking equipment. This is a fun trip. As you can see from the list of invites, the group is very knowledgeable of wilderness canoeing and have quality water experience. Ellie will love the white water, Skeeter will love the big open water, and the rest of us will love being out on the water. There are portages, 600m the longest, some are easy pull-over's and one has a cart running on steel rails.

If one wishes to get a more detailed overview of the route it can be found in a book titled "Canoeing the Churchill" by Sid Robinson & Greg Marchildon. A great read if you are on the Churchill or not. Historical and Ethnographic. "note" I'm hoping Sid can be with us on the trip.
