Morning hike

Afternoon paddle

Today was a layover day. In the morning we went in search of muskoxen...we hiked over four miles...we saw lots of tracks but today we saw the only two muskoxen on the trip and they looked like dots across a big valley. The timing was just never right. In the afternoon, Alex, Peder and Maida went fishing. Alex caught a huge lake trout which he released...too old and tough for good eating. Sharon and Bill canoed around the bay, stopping to explore a couple of times. The others relaxed in camp or took short hikes.
