| The always bittersweet last day of canoeing. We broke camp and headed to the Rocky Mountain House take-out where we parked our vehicles. It was then back to Horburg and the put-in. Rain gear was out much of the day, but from there it was a fun run to the finish...23.3 mi. in 3:35 hours (excluding stops). Lots of fun rapids with little time to take pictures. At the take-out, the cars were loaded for the last time and it was off to check in with family, get cleaned up and for most, head out to Dan and Joanne's place for dinner and farewells. |
