NORTH DAKOTA RIVER --- 2016 |
As we headed home after over a month of visiting family, canoeing, geocaching and camping, we just had to stop to canoe a river in North Dakota, as state neither of had canoed in before. The Souris (Mouse) River is an interesting river in that it's headwaters are in Canada, flows into North Dakota and then heads back to Canada. Here, we did a round trip section in the J. Clark Salyer National Wildlife Refuge. |
