DISTRICT FIRST AID CONTESTS

Each year the District holds a First Aid Contest for Boy Scout Troops. The purpose of the event is to teach and review first aid skills that are commonly needed in everyday situations. Each patrol entered is present with several scenarios. To solve, the Scouts must use first aid skills learned while advancing thru First Class and earning the First Aid merit badge. The correct first aid is reviewed with the participants. Typically, presidential, blue, red and yellow ribbons are awarded.
