LOS ALAMOS DISTRICT SCOUT SHOWS

Each year the District holds a Scout Show or Exposition open to the public. Units have booths or outdoor displays. The booths/displays are judged based on published criteria and Presidential, blue, red and yellow ribbons presented. Tickets are sold to cover expenses and raise funds for unit activities.

SCOUT SHOWS
Two Scout Exposition patches from the early 1970's. Exact years and the order in which the patches were issued is unknown at this time. Sizes: 46 mm x 75 mm and 59 mm x 73 mm, respectively.

1979 Scout Exposition. Size: 77 mm diam.	1980 Scout Exposition. The center design was the National BSA insignia commeratoring the 50th anniversary of Cub Scouting. Size: 77 mm diam.	1981 Scout Exposition held at the Pueblo gym. Size: 77 mm diam.
1982 Scout Exposition held at the Pueblo gym. Size: 77 mm diam.	A segment used for the Scout Expos in 1983 and 1984 and was designed to be worn with the Fuller Lodge and subsequent district patches. Size: 36 mm x 28 mm

1991 Scout Show. The District used a common Great Southwest Council patch this year. Size: 102 mm x 77 mm	1992 Scout Show. Size: 77 mm x 77 mm	1993 Scout Show. This bar was one of a series of bars designed to be worn with the patch commerating 75 years of Scouting in Los Alamos. Size: 86 mm x 22 mm

1997 Scout Show. The show was held at the Lucero Center in Espanola. Size: 77 mm diam.	The 1998 Northern New Mexico District Scout Show was held at the Los Alamos High School with Bob Bartholomew as chairman. Presidential Award winners were Pack 22 and Troop 122.	The 1999 Northern New Mexico District Scout Show was held at the Espanola Convento. Bob Bartholomew was chairman.
