CUB SCOUTS
1991-1996
1997 TO PRESENT
  • Scouting for Food, 150 pts.
  • Pushmobile Race, (200 x % Pack participating) pts.
  • Sledding Party, (100 x % Pack participating) pts.
  • Scout Show, 150 pts plus competition points
  • County Fair Parade, (10 x number participating) pts.
  • Joint Cub/Boy Scout Activity, 50 pts.
  • Quality Unit Award, 200 pts.
  • Pack Summeratime Award, 100 pts.
  • 1-day Training Activity, (30 x number participating) pts.
  • Philmont Training, (50 x number participating) pts.
  • Attendance at District Committee Meeting by other than CM or DL, 10 pts. per meeting
  • Attendance at Roundtable Meeting by SM or ASM, 10 pts. per Scouter attending per month
Critera 1 - 4 are required.
  1. Leader Training: One leader from each den has completed Cub Leader Basic Training and one Webelos Leader has completed WELOT
  2. Pack Awards: Pack received both Quality Unit Award and Pack Summertime Award
  3. Parental Participation: Strive for 100% parental participation (one parent per family) in Pack Meetings and activities
  4. District Fund Raising: Participates in two activities that provide funancial support for the District
  5. District-wide Activities: Participates in two district-wide activites other than the Scout show such as Pushmobile Race, Sledding Party, District Day Camp, Camporee, Klondike, etc.
  6. District Scout Show Participation: Participated in of the the following Scout Show activites -- display booth, food booth or ticket sales
  7. Citizenship, Duty to God and Country: Participate in two community or religious activities such as parades, commermorative or flag-raising ceremonies, Scout Sunday, etc.
  8. Service Activity to Help People in Need and Community: Participate in two pack-wide service projects such as Scouting for Food, food baskets fo needy, community clean-up, etc.
  9. Service to Charter Organization: Participate in one activity of service to Charter Organization such as clean-up, flag-raising ceremony, supply Christmas tree, etc.
  10. Troop Events: Conduct two pack-wide activities or events such as derby race, family campover, etc.
  11. Assist in District Leadership: Provide 'volunteer' help in a Distirict-wide activity (e.g., pushmobile race, derby race, sledding party, day camp) or supply a trainer for Cub Basic or Pow Wow Training
From 1991-1996, points were awarded as listed in this table. The pack with the most points was the Honor Pack for that year.

Starting in 1997, all units that met 8 of the requirements was a Silver award recipient and all units that met 10 of the requirements was a Gold award recipient.

  • Klondike Derby, 100 pts.
  • Camporee, 100 pts plus up to 50 competition points
  • Special Events, e.g., Veteran's Day, Light Farolitos, Memorial Day, County Fair Parade, 25 pts. each
  • Quaility Unit Award, 200 pts.
  • National Camping Award, 200 pts.
  • OA Election/Camp Promotion, 50 pts.
  • Participant or staff for adult leader training, 50 pts.
  • Attendance at District Committee Meeting by other than SM or ASM, 10 pts. per meeting
  • Attendance at Roundtable Meeting by SM or ASM, 10 pts. per meeting
Critera 1 - 4 are required.
  1. Leader Training: Scoutmaster has completed Scoutmaster Fundamentals Basic Training
  2. Troop Awards: Troop received the Quality Unit Award
  3. Partential Participation: Troop has an active and working committee
  4. District Fund Raising: Participates in two activities that provide funancial support for the District
  5. District-wide Activities: Participates in two district-wide activites other than the Scout show such as First-Aid Contest, Camporee, or Klondike Derby
  6. District Scout Show Participation: Participated in of the the following Scout Show activites -- display booth, food booth or ticket sales
